Violet C. Seraiva's Obituary
Violet Seraiva, 86, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side, Friday, Sept. 21, 2018.
Violet was a beautiful person with the utmost integrity and grace. She was the most loving wife, mother, nana, neighbor, and friend. She was happiest surrounded by her family and friends.
Violet was extremely devoted to her husband of 43 years, Robert (Bob) Seraiva. They raised six children; Robert (Bobby) Seraiva, Susan Siegel (husband David), Rick Seraiva (wife Jeannie), Kay Jernigan (wife Dorsey), Patty Staker and Tammy Wise (husband Curtis). Violet was blessed with five grandchildren, Robert, Sammie, Tyler, Troy and Erica.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Dorothya, her husband Robert, and her eldest son Bobby.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 6:00 PM. Interment will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE 19701.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Violet’s name to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Parkinson Disease Association.
