Victoria Reich's Obituary
Victoria B. Reich, age 82, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at her children's residence in Rehoboth Beach.
Mrs. Reich was born November 27, 1925 in Ford City, PA to the late Andrew and Mary (Sanko) Halas. She was a 1943 graduate of Ford City High School. She received her R.N. degree from West Penn School of Nursing and was formerly employed by PPG Industries. Mrs. Reich was a member of Christ, Prince of Peace Church, Ford City. She enjoyed close friends, reading, bridge clubs, travel, church and community activities.
She is survived by two Daughters, Johnsine J. Reich of McLean, VA and Betsy Bernal & husband Javier of Yorba Linda, CA; Two sons: Henry E. Reich, Jr. and wife Laurie of Ford City, PA; and James C. Reich of Rehoboth Beach, DE; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reich was preceeded in death by her husband, Henry E. Reich, Sr; 3 brothers: John G.Halas,
Andrew Halas and Frank J. Halas; a sister Mary J. Baculik; her step father, Joseph Caniga; and a step-sister, Frances Janovsky.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Ford City, PA with a private interment to follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Edmond's Catholic Church, King Charles & Laurel Streets, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
