Vicki D. Stewart's Obituary
Vicki D. Stewart, age 56, of Ellendale, DE passed away on Thursday December 18, 2008 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, DE. She was employed for many years as a manager for Bank's Dairy Market and Shore Stop in Bridgeville, DE and was a worker at Del-Agra. She worked 21 years with Perdue Farms in Georgetown, DE in various positions until she retired out for medical reasons. She loved to read books, clip coupons to save money, spend long hours on the beach and do anything she could do for her family and friends to keep them happy and healthy.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Hazel Layfield Priestley of Bridgeville, DE, a nephew Donald C. Tunis of Bridgeville, DE, maternal grandmother Minnie Phillips Beach and paternal grandparents H.C. "Dutch" and Elizabeth Priestley.
She is survived by one son William V. Stewart, III from Bridgeville, DE and wife Christy; grandchildren Ashley Stewart, Jessica Stewart and Kyle Glime all of Seaford, DE and Zach Thomas and Heather Thomas both of Hurlock, MD.
Sisters Brenda Priestley Tunis and Pam Priestley Bitler and huband Robert all of Ellendale, DE; stepmother Sandy Calloway Priestley Keen of Bridgeville, DE, step sister Teresa Priestley of Phil. PA and Curtis Priestley of Salem, NJ; nieces Dawn Tunis LeCates and husband Douglas of Seaford, DE, Nikki Bitler of Bridgeville, DE and Kayla Walker of Philadelphia, PA; nephews Kyle Bitler of Bridgeville, DE, Tyler and Adam Bitler of Ellendale, DE, D'Andre Walker of Philadelphia, PA, and Curtis Priestley, JR. of Salem, NJ; great nieces Brandy Morean Johnson, Natallie LeCates and Chelsea LeCates all of Seaford, DE.
Funeral Services will be on Friday December 26, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow the services in Bridgeville Cemetery, Bridgeville, DE
