Veronica I. Galati's Obituary
Veronica "Tootsie" I. Galati age 66, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Lynch, KY, on Monday, March 26, 1945, daughter of the late Antonio and Veronica (Martin) Francisco. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Americo John Francisco and two sister's, Barbara Ann Kolibus and Delores Wilson.
Mrs. Galati relocated to Rehoboth Beach from Gouldsboro, PA and was employed at the Rehoboth Beach K-Mart for 17 years. Her enjoyment of our Delaware beaches included crabbing, boating and going to the beach. She also enjoyed the yoga classes at Tunnell Cancer Center. She will be sorely missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters and their families and all that knew her.
Mrs. Galati is survived by her husband of 45 years, Hubert C. Galati of Rehoboth Beach; three sons: Michael & wife Renay Galati, Centreville, VA, Edward & wife Kristie Galati, Purcellville, VA and Thomas Galati & his fiance' Erin Sarricks of Edinburg, VA; eight grandchildren: Allie, Eddie, Anne Marie, Giovanni, Isabella, Gianna, Isaac & Sophia; four sisters: Angelina Smolko, Marie Breeze, Linda Francisco & Tina Ciallella; one brother, Antonio Francisco and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Friends may call at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958 on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Interment will be private.
