My son (“Z”) and I were lucky enough to have Trudi in our lives beginning when we first worked together at the Angler’s Motel. Trudi was an amazing, hardworking, dynamic, loyal, and charismatic “full of life” lady! There was an energy that surrounded her you couldn’t miss or be caught up in, but we all paled in comparison. Trudi, you left us too soon and I can’t wait to hear all your New stories when we meet again! Will miss your smile, beautiful blue eyes, and laughter until then❤️
We “inherited” Trudi’s friendship and hard work when we bought the Anglers Motel. What a wild character, so full of feisty life! She left us to have more independence in her work life, but everyone who followed her was measured by the Trudi-test. Her huge spirit will be terribly missed! Donna Watton de Kuyper
I first met Trudi when my parents and I hired her to work at our motel in Lewes! She was just 17 at the time. She worked for us until 1994 when we sold the motel, and continued to help us in our homes since then. The years have flown by so quickly and she has always been a part of our family! Trudi was so helpful, kind, sweet and loving. My parents loved her so much, and so do I. My heart aches that she is no longer with us, but I am grateful for all the special times we have had with her over the past 37 years! Precious memories.
Trudi had a heart of gold. She went out of her way to help others as well as animals. We shared an affection for cats & always had stories to trade about our crazy pets. So sorry for her early demise. She will be missed by many people and animals.
