Memories and my cousin Tim
Growing up, I spent a lot of time with the Miller family.
Sometimes people would ask if we were siblings. All blonde and only a couple years between us.
We had many adventures as a dynamic trio..
Tim started skateboarding and built a ramp with Randy...
"Cathy, you try it first to make sure it's strong enough ..."
Yes, I fell because it wasn't quite right yet...🙃
Some of my favorite memories are the summer visits to Dewey Beach. Lots of playing card games (no tv) and beach time.
The three of us would walk from the Dewey house to the Rehobeth boardwalk to play the pinball machines and buy salt water taffy.
I still remember walking to the boardwalk with a glow light stick... one of us would throw it as far as we could and then we would all race to it...
guess who won most? Nothing like a good sand tackle..😂
One of most memorable meals was prepared by Tim. I visited in the summer of 2022.. we shopped together and he crafted a delectable scallop pasta dish. Lots of garlic with a shrimp stock.. 😻
I will miss his big belly laugh the most... when talked on the phone nothing was more fun than hearing his laughter. I tried to keep that spirit alive even when we were only texting..
knock, knock
who's there
chicken
chicken who
chicken up on you
I have a silly sense of humor and that's what keeps me going..
Life is unpredictable.. make time to smile and have a full belly laugh!
Always in my heart..
