Tim was my uncle.
Although i never really had much time to get close because of distance ,
I know that my uncle Tim meant the world to his Brother and my father Jim.
Not one time in my almost 54 years did i ever hear my father sound mad nor speak anything but praise and admiration regarding his brother.
Not one time can i recall even a disagreement or any animosity between the two.
And when i think back to my early years and the times when we would all go on vacation or to there father and mothers boat i can recall even than looking back there wAs just such a connection between the two almost like they where still one down to my father telling me at times they know from a few hours away when the other half was sick or experiencing health issues.
At one point a few years back there sister and my aunt Edith or to me Dee somehow made a really wonderful movie with Tim & My father as children and it really touched me how close they always where since birth.
Ive been told they where so close they didn't speak for a bit longer than many because they had there own language so they didn't need to because they had one another.
I thought while watching and feeling so lucky to get a chance to see my father as a young boy with his twin brother how lucky they where to have the special bond that they shared all the way back as lil tikes through now and when they meet again.
Both my uncle Tim and my father grew wiser softer and more gentle as they aged.
Ive been lucky enough to see a graceful, proud ,wise, and loving tuff Irishmen show a side of him i never noticed when i was younger.
They both taught many great values, most of all by being good loyal husbands and fathers they where to my mother and aunt Marian and to there children and now there grandchildren and the love of nature to all they met.
I could not be prouder if i tried of both of them as my uncle or my father.
Being far away i was not able to attend and join the family and for that im sorry to my cousins and aunt.
I was lucky to be able to watch the wonderful tribute and see the love of family share the moment as i just watched.
The entire thing really was a touching tribute to a gentleman, a wonderful father, and now as a grandfather and my fathers best friend....
Tim i love you and here is to the next part of your journey.
God Bless you uncle Tim.
And thank you for all the joy you brought to my father. "unconditional admiration & Love the greatest gift one can give or receive from or to another.
Rest in peace.
Love,
Jamie.
