I learned of Tim's passing a few days ago. We were classmates at Rumson Fair Haven Regional High School in Rumson, NJ, back in the 1960s. Tim was a good friend during high school and for years afterward. He was a very smart person and also a master prankster. He and I and a few others pulled some outrageous stunts on the Jersey shore back then. Tim had asked me to be his best man at his wedding in the early 1970s, but I had to decline because I was in the process of returning from military service overseas. We did hook up later on and exchange corporate horror stories when he was with Dupont in Delaware and I was with Westinghouse in PIttsburgh I told others in our class about Tim's passing and they too were saddened by the news. He was just a good person. Our condolences go out to his family and to those who knew him in Lewes.

Hannah, Abby, my sincere condolences to you both on your Dad's passing. I consider it fortunate that Tim was involved in Sarah's upbringing. Tim always seemed to me to be kind, considerate and helpful to her on many levels, and a good influence. He knew how to handle being a stepdad with intelligence, grace and decency. I'm grateful to have known him, especially in that role. May he rest in peace, and may you find comfort in knowing what a good man he was.

I met Tim Labor Day weekend 22 years ago in 1998. I had been been in summer beach houses in Dewey/Rehoboth for many years in the 80s. My house mates and I would visit Lewes for ice cream and to walk around town. That is where I wanted to buy my first house.

Tim knew exactly which house I would love and he was right. We were friends ever since. He always let me know how Hannah and Abby were doing - they were so young when we met. I enjoyed many dinner and a movie night at his place. And he was my happy hour/dinner/night cap buddy at Gilligans or The Buttery when I was in town.

He called me in mid Feb to let me know he had been in the hospital and was in rehab. We talked a long time and then exchanged some emails. But COVID hit and life changed. Like Sue, I wish I had called him and I should have. I had been thinking of him a lot this summer and then a mutual friend called to tell me he had passed away. I am so sorry I just did not pick up the phone to talk.

So on this Labor Day weekend of 2020, I will remember our friendship with warmth and love. My heart goes out to Hannah and Abby. Your dad was a nice guy and he was so proud of both of you.

I will miss you Tim.

Tim was instrumental in selling my wife and I on buying our home in Lewes.....he showed us the entire area and we learned all about city and enjoyed his company very much. He was a really nice gentleman. We will always be grateful to him for getting us to Lewes. RIP Tim.....G. Cook

I was so upset to see where Tim had passed. We had not talked lately and I wondered why he had not called to see how things were going.....we always kept in touch ever so often. I should have called....we always put things off. Whenever we talked whether in person or on the phone, we would "always" talk about the kids first.....He would ask how my daughter was and I would ask how Hannah and Abby were.....it breaks my heart that I did not reach out to him, but I was waiting for him to reach out....he was a wonderful guy....in so many many ways.....loved him dearly and I am so so sorry Hannah and Abby...I know you know how very much he adored you ! He was a special guy to many folks and will always be~ love to you both, Sue (Warrington-Doud)

I am so sad to have to say goodbye to my good friend Tim. He was a dedicated and great realtor and one of the smartest people I have known. Condolences to Abigail and Hannah. He loved you both so much and was always sharing pictures and stories.
