Timothy Edward Draper's Obituary
Timothy Edward Draper, age 37, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. He was born on October 14, 1975, son of John Lee Draper and Phillis G. (Ramsey) Draper-Watts.
Mr. Draper graduated from Cape Henlopen High School in 1994. He and his family moved to Maine where he resided for five years while earning his Associates Degree. He had a very outgoing personality; he was a jokester, storyteller, and everyone he met became an instant friend. He worked with his step-father as a flooring contractor for Jerry Watts Construction. Mr. Draper was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed playing and watching all types of sports; he spent many summers playing volleyball on the local restaurant league, he loved boating and snow skiing. Mr. Draper was a devoted family man and a loving father and son. Mr. Draper was an organ donor through The Gift of Life Program; even in death he continued his generous nature by giving new hope to four people in grave need.
Mr. Draper is survived by his mother, Phillis G. Draper-Watts and step-father, Jerry W. Watts; his father, John Lee Draper; his loving companion and then best friend, Emily S. Wingate; three children: Cameron Jack Draper, MaryJane Draper and Elijah L. LeCates; a brother, John L. Draper, Jr. and wife Angela; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958 where friends may visit beginning at 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at The Draper Children Trust, c/o Fulton Bank, 34346 Carpenters Way, Lewes, DE 19958.
