Timothy James Camden's Obituary
Timothy (Tim) James Camden (also known as “J” by his loving wife), 44, of Millsboro, DE, passed peacefully in his sleep on December 19, 2022. Tim was born on December 14, 1978, in Silver Springs, MD, to Richard Lee and Antoinette (Toni) Marie (Cieslak) Camden.
Richard, Toni, and their boys (Steven and Timothy) moved to Virginia in 1994. Tim attended Sherando High School and met the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Kelly Dawn (Sowder) Camden in 1995. Tim and Kelly wed in 1997 and went on to have three beautiful daughters: Kourtny Dawn (25), Katriana Danielle (22), and Kynleigh Diane (13).
Tim was known for being a “Jack of All Trades.” Need a fence built? No problem! Need help fixing your car? Of course. Need a handy man? He could do that too! Barbie’s head fell off? He was the best at fixing those. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly.
On Tim’s rare days off from running his business, you could find him on the boat, crabbing and fishing with Kelly and Julie. He loved enjoying life and loved his family unconditionally.
Tim is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kelly Camden; girlfriend, Julie Parsons; daughters, Kourtny Dunlap (husband, Frankie Dunlap), Katriana Camden (fiancé, Elizabeth Phillips), and Kynleigh Camden; parents, Richard, and Toni Camden; grandchildren, Elias and Madison Dunlap; brothers, Steven Camden and George (Tuffy) Reid; niece, Lilly Simpson; maternal grandmother, Edith Cieslak; brothers-in-law, Kevin Sowder and Richard Linaweaver (girlfriend, Jordyn), and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Tim is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Edward Cieslak; paternal grandparents, James, and Virginia Camden; mother-in-law, Kathy Barger; grandparent-in-laws, William, and Eulah Barger; and uncle, Mark Camden.
In lieu of Flowers, we ask that donations be made to Tim’s family/Go Fund Me page to help Kelly navigate this new life.
The Celebration of Life will be held at on Saturday, January 7th, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Open-Door Baptist Church, 333 Jeremiah Lane, Clear Brook, VA 22624. The church will accept flowers for the week prior.
You will forever be missed and in our hearts.
