Thomas Harold White's Obituary
Thomas Harold White, 77, of Delaware, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones, leaving behind a lifetime of hard work, loyalty, and love for the outdoors and his family.
Tom was born on March 31, 1948, in Dover, Delaware. He was the son of the late Thomas Edward White and Ida Elizabeth White. He attended school in Lewes and built his life rooted in the values of dedication and honesty that those who knew him will never forget.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Edward White, who passed on March 23, 2020.
He is survived by his sister, Eva May White Pride, and many nieces and nephews.
Throughout his life, Tom was known as a man who took pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way.
In 2006, Tom founded T.H. White General Contractor, where he became especially well known for his expertise in roofing. He was respected not only for his craftsmanship, but also for the way he connected with his customers—always ready for conversation and willing to help.
Outside of work, Tom loved fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. One of his greatest joys was the companionship of his beloved dog, Charlie. He appreciated life’s simple pleasures and the quiet moments spent doing what he loved most.
Tom will be remembered for his strong work ethic, friendly nature, and the many lives he touched through both his business and personal life. He leaves behind memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
