While we knew the Legend of Tommy V for 5 plus years, we met Tommy and Carol at a local restaurant, where he sang with Vincenzo, the restaurant owner. Such magical moments, and a real treat to the diners. Tommy had an infectious smile, and a warmth second to none. We were blessed to hear him sing 3 times at Dolce Vita…… wonderful memories. Condolences to Carol and the rest of his family, what a wonderful man. May he Rest in Peace.
I only knew Tommy briefly but to me he was the embodiment of the lyric “with a smile and a song”. He could brighten anyone’s day with his presence and the few times we got to sing together, just hanging around, were a gift. May his memory be a blessing.
