Thomas Bardo Snyder's Obituary
Thomas B. Snyder, Sr., age 76 of Millsboro, DE, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at his home. He was born Friday, March 14, 1941 in Williamsport, PA, son of the late Elmo Snyder and Dorothy and George Kelly.
Tom lived for many years in New Jersey, where he worked as a pension manager for Carter Wallace in Cranbury. He eventually settled in Millsboro in 2001. Tom thoroughly enjoyed entertaining and hosting friends. He will be remembered for his unwavering optimism and warm sense of humor. Tom was a loving and devoted partner, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be genuinely missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know him.
Tom is survived by his beloved partner of more than 29 years, John Perry of Millsboro, DE; his spoiled cats: Big Guy and Peanut; his sons: Thomas B. Snyder, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Hamilton Square, NJ, and Andrew Snyder and his wife Cindy of Hamilton, NJ; his daughter, Terri Cathcart of Lawrenceville, NJ; his grandchildren: Jessica, Lindsey, Shelby, Kayleigh, Andrew, Peter, and Scott; his like-sister-in-law, Gwen Lindsay of Jackson, NJ; his brothers: Eugene Snyder and Audrey of Largo, FL, and Elmo Snyder and Carol of Willingboro, NJ; and his sister Carol Delaney and her husband Hugh of Columbus, NJ.
