I am so sorry to learn of Rowland's death. He and my father, Jim Riley, were first cousins and I have very fond memories of our summer visits to Lewes when I was young. Sending my thoughts to his family from all the Rileys.
Roland was a dear friend who will be sadly missed. Was great playing golf with him and his humor. These last few years I enjoyed visiting Roland and updating him on his old golfing buddies and Shawnee /Rookery North golf course. His humor was evident when he came to the door. I told him I had cookies & fudge, and he said “ if they are chocolate, come on in”.
