Thomas John Reale's Obituary
Thomas John Reale, age 80 of Lewes, DE passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, at Beebe Healthcare, in Lewes, DE. He was born on November 15, 1942 in Wilmington, DE, son of the late John P. Sr. and Doris (Centrella) Reale.
Mr. Reale graduated from Salesianum High School in Wilmington, DE and continued his studies attending Arkansas College. Mr. Reale worked in the banking industry and also as a self-employed business consultant. Faith was a pillar in his life, serving on the Vestry for 2 episcopal churches throughout his life and as a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church, Lewes, DE. Mr. Reale was a member of the American Institute of Banking, the Association of Builders and Contractors, and Lewes Rotary Club. He loved his family and friends and above all, spending time with them was what he cherished most. Mr. Reale was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was loved by many and will be deeply and genuinely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Reale was predeceased by his in laws, Herbert and Jane Pusey Harris, and his siblings Maryann Reale and John Reale Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Jean Harris Reale of Lewes, DE; his daughter, Karen Reale; his grandson, Eric Reale; his nieces: Kelli, Christina, Lisa, and Lauren; his nephews: Michael and David; his brother-in-law, David; his sisters-in-law: Linda Reale, Raye Simpson, and Terry Bauman; and 9 grandnieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
