I was fortunate enough to meet Tom through his husband, Jon. Jon and I worked together, and our work brought us on several trips. I first met Tom in San Diego, where we shared a wonderful time together. The next trip was to Las Vegas, where Tom wasn’t feeling his best, yet he was such a trooper and stayed present with all of us.
I later had the pleasure of welcoming Jon and Tom as my guests in the Hamptons where, of course, Tom was in his element. Being in a beach town made him so happy.
In the time I knew Tom, I got to learn about the things he truly loved: the beach, cooking, traveling, his cats, and more than anything, his devoted and loving husband, Jon.
Tom, you will be deeply missed. But for all who love you, there is comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain. Your light, your warmth, and the joy you brought to those around you will never be forgotten.

I’ve been friends with Tom and Jon for over 30 years. They came to visit us in Florida last spring. When Tom found out I was having surgery a couple weeks after their visit, he went shopping and made two spaghetti pies and a huge lasagna, then froze them in individual servings for me to eat while recovering ❤️🩹. What a blessing! That was Tom. Now a true angel..
Mr. P was my culinary instructor at job corp. I wouldn't have made it with out, his kindness and perseverance. He saw something in me and he never let my attitude put him off. He made me strive for excellence. Rest easy Mr. P
P.S. I did and am am Executive Chef these days.
I enjoyed talking with Tom on messenger about his life. He shared some recipes with me that we love. I know he is pain free now and enjoying his new journey.
