Miss you so much....Wish we could talk just one more time so you know how important you are in my life.....Love Kisses and Hugs YOUR BRIDE
Pop, I so wanted to post on the 27th but I just couldnt do it. We celebrated your life as a family and we stay strong for each other. We miss you big guy. I still dont believe your gone. I still actually reach for the phone to call you. Not sure why but every day I have to stop myself from making the call. I know what Debbie and Connie would say. Thats just you calling me. Monday I popped your favorite a diet Pepsi and enjoyed a soft pretzel right at 5pm. Thats when you passed, I sat alone and enjoyed it with you.
Christ I miss you! Working to make you proud!
Love you,
Kevin
It's been a year already since Pop left us...somedays it seems like I just heard him call me on the phone as if it were yesterday...somedays it seems like it's been years since I hear his voice or heard him crack one of his bad jokes. It's been a tough year for all of us Pop, but especially for your bride, Elaine and your pooch, Abbey. We all got together at Rob and Connie's yesterday to celebrate you and how much you meant to all of us in so many different ways. We brought all you favorite foods: hoagies, potato chips, Philly soft pretzels, hot dogs and of course Stock's pound cake. We know you were there and hope you had as good a time as we did!
We shared stories about some of the funny things you used to say and do and stories about how you always put family first and no matter how your health was, went out of you way to come to you kids and grandkids games, special events, birthdays of all your grandchildren, holiday visits from house to house with never a complaint - just joy to see and spend time with your ever growing family. Always with your bride by your side to get you wherever you wanted to be. We will always be greatful for that, Elaine!
We laughed, we cried, we shared our grief but we also shared how lucky we are to have you in our lives for as long as we did...and thank goodness for the luck of the Irish that helped make that possible.
You were one of a kind who can never be replaced and trust me when I say that your legacy lives on and all of you children, grand children and great-grandchildren will hear stories about you as they grow so that they will never forget how lucky they were to have you in their lives. I pledge to make sure any up and coming great-grandchildren that are not yet born will be made well aware through photos, stories and family how blessed they were to have had Thomas Vincent O'Hanlon Jr. as the family patriarch of this very proud Irish family!
Love and miss you each and every day of my life, Pop!
Your eldest, Debbie aka Babe
Im sitting here today POP, and I know your with me. But Its not 1 single bit easier. I miss you. Mom is ok and so is everyone else. Your girls (Deb & Connie) are fighters. They do what they do and do it to perfection! I see so much of you in them. I havent seen either in awhile as it reminds me of the day you passed. I know you would tell me its not fair to them. Miss you POP!!
Love you,
Big Guy
One month ago today, my Pop was released from all of his pain and went to a better place filled with joy, laughter, peace and all of the family that went before him. I miss you everyday, Pop...but I know I'll see you again when my time comes! You will be there to greet me with open arms. Until then, stop by and visit in my dreams every now and then. Give my Mom and Nanny a huge hug from me. I miss you all! ?
I woke up and my 1st though was of you. Everyday calling you and talking to you at 300pm, Pop I still make that call, we talk but missing you is so tough. I miss your good bye "Ok SON, talk to you tomorrow" This is NOT getting easier. But I know your better. I miss you so much!!
Thinking of you, and loving you.
Kevin
