Thomas E. Jobora's Obituary
Thomas E. Jobora age 73 of Lewes, DE passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Delaware Hospice, in Milford, DE. He was born on August 8, 1949 in Akron, OH, son of the late Joseph E. Jobora and Lottie (Uyrcki) Jobora.
A proud veteran, Mr. Jobora enlisted in the US Army after graduating high school and honorably served his country. He found true happiness when he met and married the love of his life Virginia, and together they shared many beautiful years. Mr. Jobora enjoyed a career at the Tile Market in Lewes as a warehouse manager. After his retirement, he worked for Seasonal Solutions in Lewes. Mr. Jobora was also a proud member of the American Legion. What he cherished most, however, was time spent with those he held most dear. Mr. Jobora was a loving and devoted husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Loved by many, he will be forever missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Jobora; and his step mother, Harriet Jobora. Mr. Jobora is survived by his sister, Nancy Beaumont (Joseph Gordy); his stepdaughters: Jeannie Briley Wallo (Steve), Terri Strine (Andy), Loretta Ostroski (Mark);his grandchildren: Sydney Ostroski, Jack Ostroski, Briley Strine, and Finn Strine; his nieces: Jamie Everton, Shane Mott, Cora and Cody Heishman; and his great nephew and nieces: Reid, Mara, Ellie, and Emberly Everton.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium Atkins-Lodge Chapel,16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 2:00 PM.
