Many memories with Tom at the bunker. My first day as a Bunker Buster 8 years ago was Tom asking me to help him with a project digging up unused old copper wire and stripping it. On other day's I asked Tom to help me and he jumped right in. He was a get er done guy. We miss you Bud

Tom was one of our most valuable Fort Miles Historical Association "Bunker Busters" who donated hundreds of hours of his time over the last ten years working to improve the Fort Miles Museum and Historical Area. No job was too big or small for Tom to tackle. Whenever there was a need, he was there to work to solve it. When a job needed to be done, he was there to do it. And always with a smile on his face and a laugh to go along with it! In 2018 our group chose Tom for our most important award....the Lee Jennings Award, given for outstanding leadership as a "bunker buster" volunteer. He was one of the best of us, and represented the best of the Fort Miles hard working volunteer team. Without a doubt, he will be missed by us all.
