Theresa Victoria Styles' Obituary
Theresa V. Styles, age 82, of Dagsboro, Delaware, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on June 12, 1943, in Blenheim, NJ, she was the youngest of three daughters of Frank and Victoria Kostrzewski (Kutrzyba).
Theresa grew up in Westville Grove, NJ. She graduated from Deptford High School in 1961. In 1963 she married the love of her life, Fred R. Styles, and settled in Clayton, NJ, where she and Fred raised a family. In 2004 Theresa and Fred retired to Dagsboro, Delaware.
Theresa held many jobs during her lifetime, working for various companies such as Bell Telephone, Tyco Industries, Sealed Sweet Foods, and American Records. She worked all these jobs while running a household and raising three children.
In her spare time Theresa enjoyed crafts such as ceramics and creating holiday decorations. Theresa loved to cook, especially the Polish dishes that she learned from her mother. She enjoyed reading mysteries, watching her favorite British PBS shows, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Theresa was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially cheering on her beloved Eagles and Phillies.
She is predeceased by her husband Fred and her sisters Cecelia and Stephanie and her grandson Sean M. Kenny.
Theresa is survived by her son Kenneth Styles (Rebekah) of Holland, MI; her daughter Sandra Kenny (Paul) of Cherry Hill, NJ; and her daughter Christine Styles of Dagsboro, DE; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A prayer service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 34874 Atlantic Ave., Ocean View, DE 19970. Friends and family members may visit from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive, triangle, VA 22172 or to their local Special Olympics Foundation.
