Thelma "Thay" B. Badger, age 81 of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at her residence, in Rehoboth Beach, DE. She was born on September 28, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA daughter of the late Albert and Frances (Kriner) Clark.
Mrs. Badger enjoyed bird watching, scrapbooking, challenging puzzles, all things Disney and reading the Bible. She cherished time spent as a member of the Word of Hope Church in Millsboro, DE. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Badger was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Clark Jr.; and her grandson, Joshua Collins. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Robert F. Badger Sr. of Rehoboth Beach, DE; her sons: David Badger (Beverly) of Deptford, NJ; John T. Bateman (Ovic) of Glassboro, NJ; Albert Bateman (Kim) of Bradenton, FL; Thomas Badger (Penny) of Washington Twp, NJ; and Robert F. Badger Jr. (Deedee) of Pitman, NJ; her daughters: Kim Rodio (Patrick) of Hammonton, NJ; Deborah Cheeseman (Michael) of Pitman, NJ; and Jennifer Bowers (Brad) of Tampa, FL; her sister, Viola Clark of Runnemede, NJ; her eleven grandchildren and her four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Badger's name to Jusst Sooup Ministry, 18483 Cool Spring Rd, Milton, DE 19968, www.jusstsooup.org
