Terry R. Cain's Obituary
Terry R. Cain, age 56, of Greenwood, DE passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, DE. He was born in Baltimore, MD on October 13, 1955, son of the late Claude H. and Beulah (Callis) Cain.
Mr. Cain was a member of the 1973 graduating class at Woodbridge High School. After graduation he worked as a machinist for Seaford Machinery specializing in the administration of DuPont contracts. From 2006 to the present Mr. Cain was employed with ILC in Dover, DE, a job he truly enjoyed. He was an accomplished Machinist and held many patents in his name. Mr. Cain was a member of the NRA, Delmarva Hogs, and the Seaford Moose Lodge. He had a love for guns, knives, hunting, NASCAR, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and most of all, his Bengal Cats. He had a quick wit and was a great story teller. Mr. Cain was a loving father, grandfather, co-worker, and friend who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Cain is survived by his son, Christopher Claude Cain of Washington, DC; his daughter, Jessica L. Cain of Easton, MD; his grandson, Cowen Friend; his two cats, Trapper and Camo; and several aunts, uncles and dear friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE, where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM. A viewing will also be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow funeral services at Bloomery Cemetery, Federalsburg, MD.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the National Rifle Association (NRA), 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030, or to Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary of Sussex County, P.O. Box 430, Nassau, DE 19969.
