Terry Lee Baum's Obituary
Terry Lee Baum, beloved husband, father, stepfather, pops, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at home on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the age of 65.
He leaves behind his wife, Sandy; son, Mike Baum; stepsons, Brian (Brandy) Harpster and Craig (Andrea) Harpster; stepdaughter, Corrine (Brent) Harpster; and ten grandchildren.
Terry was a decorated Army Ranger veteran, ranked as a sergeant. He served many years as the commander for the American Legion Post 5 in Rehoboth Beach. He was a 25-year employee and dear friend of Harry Caswell Plumbing Company in Longneck. Terry loved his family and his dog, Toby, very much. He loved going camping, riding his Harley-Davidson with his wife, and he absolutely loved cooking for family and friends. He loved taking his wife, children, and grandchildren on weekend camping trips. Terry had a huge heart, a memorable laugh, and a truly contagious smile. He will be sorely missed by everyone who loved him. The family will be hosting a celebration of life at a later date.
