My brother, Terry, passed away two months ago on June 11, 2017.

I'm so touched by the loving words of tribute and beautiful shared memories, especially the one from my niece, Kelly. I used to tell Terry, "You're my favorite brother!" It didn't matter that he was my only one!

My memories??? They are like a thread woven through every stage of my life. Kelly's memory of her dad making her feel special has inspired me to add this scripture passage that I believe with my whole heart and soul.

For you Terry: "The Lord your God, carried you, as a man carries his child, along your journey." (Deuteronomy 1:31b)

My dad was a good man, who served his country as Marine, as well as his community as a police officer. I have always been very proud of his many brave accomplishments and will always cherish the memories that I have of the times we spent together. There are so many memories, but one of my particular favorites is while he was on the Mounted Patrol for WPD, working extra duty at the St. Elizabeth's carnival. I was a little girl and playing in the front yard of my grandparents house. When all of the sudden, here Dad came riding down Coyne Place on his horse "Captain"
He stopped in front of the house and pulled me up onto Captain with him and at that moment, I felt like the luckiest and most special little girl in the world. I will forever love and miss you Dad, but I know in my heart, that you are watching over me.

To Terry's entire family, my deepest sympathy. We were kids together in Cleland Heights. I often saw his twin sisters (Anthea and Maria) at the St. Mary of the Assumption Healing Mass and often asked about Terry and Chris. So sad. Terry was funny and such a nice person. May he rest in peace.

I met Figurell when i came on W.P.D. Right away i found him to be a likable guy and someone who was known as a cops cop. If you were in trouble Fig was one of the guys you wanted covering your back. Condolences to the family and friends. R.I.P. Fig.

I remember meeting Terry for the first time after I graduated from the police academy, and like another officer stated, "Terry was bigger than life", but he was a heck of a cop, and person to know..
He'll be deeply missed. R.I.P. brother.......!
