Terry was a person who no person could ever forget. I spent a great deal of time with him and prior to moving from heaven (Five Points in Lewes) he helped to show me what life was really like and how it should be lived. Terry, in all the time I ever knew him, even when challenges came his way, never seemed to have a bad day; just one to be faced. When I turned 50, Terry spent the day+ with me. I think I was more challenged than him; I had to work hard to keep up with him that day!
I know Terry loved all types of animals. I found it most interesting that one of his favorite animals around the house were little turtles. He would let them grow and put them back in the reeds and marshes around his house.
He painted a couple of items for us...two mugs that my wife and I used at the Green Turtle bar in Five Points. If anyone is there that reads this, I would love for you to give them to Margee. One was a "Roll Tide" mug and the other was a mug with a "Thatched Roof Cottage" on it and said "SOLD". I hope they are still there and I sincerely hope they will make their way to Margie - PLEASE. If anyone can get them, Tim Hoyle and Betsy Hoyle owned them and will appreciate it forever.
There are so many things I could say about Terry but my believe is that one should remember the great things, the funny things, those that have a meaning of happiness in your life. Unfortunately there are so many things that I can think of that I cannot write them all down. I can say, plain and simple, Terry was and is a great man; full of life which so many of us have missed and we will be worse off for Terry not helping the rest of us reach it.
Margee, Betsy and I love you. We love Terry. I wept when I saw this loss but even more for your loss and others who knew Terry.
Hope to see you soon!
Tim and Betsy
