Susan M. Fisher's Obituary
Born on June 8, 1954, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Margaret and Joseph O’Donnell Sr. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, John L. Fisher.
Susan is survived by her brother, Joseph F. O’Donnell; her loving daughters, Sharon Bigwood (Bob), Rita Conway (Bryan), and Erin Fisher; and her cherished grandchildren, Madelyn and Jameson. She also leaves behind her three beloved dogs: Jenny, Connie Mack, and Nellie Fox; who were truly part of her family and deeply loved.
A graduate of Neumann University’s nursing program, Susan dedicated over 40 years of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse, working across many disciplines. Her compassion, professionalism, and commitment defined her career and touched countless lives.
Susan was a proud and devoted Philadelphia sports fan, especially of the Phillies and the Eagles. She also held a lifelong love for the Philadelphia Zoo, a place of special childhood memories—including having her picture in the newspaper as a young girl sitting on a hippo statue there.
Above all, Susan will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her love of animals, and her quiet strength and kindness.
Service arrangements will be announced at a later date.
