Susan Davis Buscemi's Obituary
Susan D. Buscemi, (nee Davis) lost her battle with cancer surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the age of 76 in Bridgeville, DE. She was born on March 22, 1947, in Baltimore, MD, to loving parents Phillis and James Davis.
Susan is survived by her devoted husband Louis Craig Buscemi of Bridgeville, DE; her sister, Margaret Olgeirson, and nephew, Jonathan Olgeirson. Additionally, she is survived by members of her husband's family: a sister-in-law Gail Brownley, two brothers-in-law and their wives: Michael and Tami Buscemi, and Thomas and Linda Buscemi; two daughters-in-law: Lisa Berlin and Melissa Newton; and seven grandchildren: Coleen Berlin, Kyle Berlin, Allison Berlin, Evan Berlin, Erin Berlin, Andrew Newton, and Emily Newton.
Susan graduated with a bachelor's degree from Notre Dame of Maryland University, Baltimore, MD. Her professional career developed in many positions at C&P Telephone Company and Verizon. She excelled at projects that used her sewing and artistic skills. All who knew her will dearly miss her generosity and kindness.
A memorial service to honor and remember Susan will take place on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws St., Bridgeville, DE 19933, where friends and family may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Following the service, join us for a repast at the Union Church, 101 N. Law Street, Bridgeville, DE 19933.
