Steven Leroy Wickersham ("Wicky")
Steven Leroy Wickersham, known to many as "Wicky," of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, passed away at home of natural causes on June 5, 2026, at the age of 69.
Born on September 1, 1956, in Chester, Pennsylvania, Steven was the son of the late Joseph Leroy Wickersham and Julia Wickersham. He graduated from high school and spent much of his working life as a CNC Operator for Harowe/Danaher, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.
On April 4, 1987, Steven married Deborah R. Wickersham in Aston, Pennsylvania. Together they shared 39 years of marriage and raised two daughters, Kristen and Jessica, who brought him great pride.
Steven enjoyed a variety of hobbies, particularly woodworking, cross-stitch, sewing, and quilting. He took satisfaction in creating things with his hands and appreciated the time spent working on projects and crafts he enjoyed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Janet McClellan.
Steven is survived by his wife, Deborah R. Wickersham; his daughters, Kristen Wickersham and Jessica Wickersham; his granddaughter, Kenzie Groover; his siblings, Charles Wickersham, Dianne McHugh, David Wickersham, and Lois Gartside; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Steven will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his skill as a craftsman, and the many projects and hobbies he enjoyed throughout his life.
