Stephen T. Nasko's Obituary
Stephen T. Nasko Sr. age 81, of Frankford, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 01, 2012 at, Christiana Hospital with his family at his side. He was born in Chester, PA, on Thursday, May 21, 1931, son of the late Stephen Nasko and Gladys Meeks Nasko Wright. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marjorie T. Nasko who passed on January 15, 2006, a daughter, Debra N. Gunther and three brothers Ronald, William, & Donald Nasko.
Mr. Nasko was a 1949 graduate of Chester High School at which time he began a 37 year career with Sinclair Petroleum which later became BP. At the time of his retirement in 1986 he was a Refinery Shift Supervisor. He was an accomplished basketball and softball player and was an avid listener of music of his era. His devotion to his family was unwavering and he will be sorely missed.
His survivors include his son Stephen T. Nasko, Jr. and wife Deborah of Norwood, PA,; two daughters, Diane N. Marshall of Lewes, DE and Linda S. Nasko of Dagsboro, DE; five grandsons, David Stuckey of Millville, DE, T.R. Marshall, V of Lewes, DE, Stephen Taylor Nasko and wife Cindy of Washington, DC, , Daniel Nasko of Newark, DE, Ryan Stuckey and wife Ksenia of Dagsboro, DE; three granddaughters, Taylor Marshall Keen and husband Drew of Lewes, DE; Meredith Marshall of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Erin Archer and husband Kevin of Morton, PA.; two great grandsons, Dylan P. Archer and Chase Archer both of Morton, PA; a sister Patricia N. Urry, Easton, MD and a half-sister Pauline Shepherd of Newark, DE; and many nieces & nephews.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, November 07, 2012, at 1:30 PM, at Mariners Bethel Cemetery, 81 Central Avenue, Ocean View, DE. Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Clarksville Chapel, 34874 Atlantic Avenue, Ocean View, DE.
