Stanley Kent Stephan's Obituary
Stanley Kent Stephan lost his stubborn hard-fought battle with cancer on Sunday May 19, 2024. Born July 22, 1945, Stanley (Kent) was a graduate of Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, PA. Kent grew up as an athlete. Starring in Football, Wrestling, and Track. He maintained this love of competition for his life.
After High School, Kent attended Penn State University developing a lifelong obsession with Penn State football and wrestling. His love of Penn State only grew over the years.
Kent was also a proud member of the US Military, serving in the Army as a 1st Lieutenant from 1965 - 1969.
After completing his bachelor’s degree in marketing at Penn State, he earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.
Professionally, Kent was the proudest of his time at pharma giant Schering-Plough as the Vice President of OTC Marketing and founder of Princeton Brand Econometrics.
Those who met Kent will attest that there was no wondering where you stood with him. If he liked you, you'd know. If he didn't, you'd know.
A proud resident of South Bethany Beach, DE following 30 years in Annadale, NJ. Kent loved South Bethany because it allowed him to indulge in his lifelong passion for the outdoors particularly fishing, boating and crabbing. He passed down this passion to his son and spent endless hours together on the water fishing and just as much time off the water talking about fishing.
Kent is survived by his wife, Bobbe, son JW, daughter-in-law Sam, sister Andi as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He will be deeply missed. Services will be private.
