Sherry Lynn Little Schuler's Obituary
Sherry Lynn Little-Schuler, age 54, passed away on Monday, June 21st, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born in Elkton, MD, Sherry later moved to Florida where she obtained her Associate’s Degree in Business from Broward Community College. It was during this time that she met her husband, David, a pitching coach for the Fort Lauderdale Yankees. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing with honors from Wor-Wic Community College. Sherry was employed as a Registered Nurse at Milford Memorial Hospital. Her warm and generous personality led to strong and lasting relationships with fellow employees who offered unending support through Sherry’s illness.
Sherry loved to travel and she was fortunate enough to live in places like Taiwan, Hawaii, and Venezuela. One of her fondest memories was teaching English to the Taiwanese children. Sherry’s unending capacity to show her love and compassion for all people dissolved all language barriers. Her positive energy was shared with her family and friends who will miss her very much.
For 16 years, Sherry fought a courageous battle with breast cancer. Everyone was amazed by her strength and positive outlook. Sherry’s ability to shield her pain from family and friends was just one example of her unending love for all involved.
