Sheila Ann Albertini's Obituary
Sheila Ann Albertini, age 65, of Georgetown, Delaware, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 12, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Caroline (Carroll) McGinnis and the late Robert Edward McGinnis.
Sheila was married to her devoted husband, Carmeno Albertini III, with whom she shared a wonderful life filled with love, laughter, and mutual respect. Together, they built a strong partnership rooted in family, faith, and the joy of life’s simple moments.
Throughout her career, Sheila dedicated herself to working as a paraeducator. She began with the Howard County Department of Parks and Recreation, supporting their before- and after-school programs. Her deep love for children and commitment to making a positive impact on their lives eventually led her to a fulfilling role within the Harford County School District, where she continued to enrich the lives of students and support their educational journeys.
In her free time, Sheila cherished spending time with her family and enjoyed attending church at St. Jude the Apostle. She loved vacationing at the beach—especially Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She also enjoyed neighborhood events, listening to music, and dancing. Her radiant smile and kind spirit brought warmth to everyone around her.
In addition to her mother, Caroline McGinnis, Sheila is survived by her loving husband, Carmeno Albertini III; her brother, Keith E. McGinnis (Tina); and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her grandmothers, Mary McGinnis and Elizabeth Henderson.
