Sharon E. Preising's Obituary
Sharon E. Preising, age 71 of Lewes, DE, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 1, 2018. She was born on February 2, 1947 in Camden, NJ, daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth (Vanderwest) Jones.
Mrs. Preising had a love for animals. She and her husband, James owned and operated Fins & Feathers Pet Shop in Lewes, DE. A staunch Republican, she ran political campaigns for former PA Governor Dick Thornberg. She was her grandchildrens' sports teams biggest fan, always attending their games and cheering them on. She supported all players from every team. Mrs. Preising was known for her love of Christmas, as it was "her holiday".
Mrs. Preising is survived by her loving husband, James W. Preising of Lewes, DE; her son, Scot Husbands of Milton, DE; her daughter, Tomi Ruth Rohlfling and her husband Edward, Jr. of Milton, DE; her four grandchildren: Hillary Waldman, Samantha Waldman, Tyler Husbands and Taylor Husbands; her sister in law, Sandy Hart of Lewes, DE; and the beloved family pet, Sparky.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow the services at Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Savannah Road, Lewes, DE.
