Sharon H. Pellegrino's Obituary
Sharon Lynn Heim Pellegrino (April 24, 1950 – June 24, 2024) lived a beautiful life filled with love, laughter and joy. She was a creative woman who loved family, animals, flowers and painting with watercolors. Sharon lit up a room with her cheerful personality and was always eager to “adopt” sons, daughters, grandchildren and pets, whom she loved and cared for as her own. She was a tender-hearted, joyful woman who filled her home with warmth, kindness and pillows.
Sharon was born and grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut. It was here that she met her devoted husband, Dominick, while working at the local grocery store. They were married on May 2, 1970, and their life together brought them to Danbury, Connecticut, San Ramon, California, Colts Neck, New Jersey and Millsboro, Delaware. Sharon co-owned a successful printing business in Red Bank, New Jersey with her husband for 23 years while raising her two children and volunteering her time and creativity at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colts Neck, New Jersey.
Sharon easily made friends wherever she went. She raised her children, Cara and John, with love, patience, creativity and fun. She joyfully welcomed John’s high school sweetheart and now wife, Nora, and Nora’s sister, Eileen as beloved daughters in 2008, and became the “best grandmother ever” in 2014, 2016 and 2020.
Sharon will be remembered for her strong work ethic, strive for perfection, exquisite floral arrangements, beautiful watercolor paintings and unwavering commitment to her friends and family, not to mention her famous mac-n-cheese that will live-on through multiple families across many generations.
