Obituary for Sharon L. Fisher
Sharon L. Fisher, 79, of Lewes, Delaware, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Seaford Center in Seaford, Delaware. She was born on July 29, 1946, in Mahoning Township, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Albert and Terresa (Wiggins) Fisher.
Sharon dedicated many years of her career to quality control in the steel manufacturing industry. She later retired from Gichner Shelter Systems in Dallastown, Pennsylvania. Outside of work, Sharon found joy in fishing and boating, and most of all, she cherished every moment spent with her family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her children: James Olphin and his wife Gina of Lewes, DE; Jennifer Williams and her husband Ted of Red Lion, PA; Jill Waltman and her husband Steve of Felton, PA. She is also survived by her brother: Albert Fisher Jr. and his wife Sue of Brogue, PA; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 niece, 1 nephew, and 1 great niece.
Sharon will be remembered for her strong work ethic, her love of the outdoors, and the deep devotion she held for her family.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens & Mount Rose Cemetery, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York, PA 17402.
