I knew Sharon through Cadbury . She was a delight to know .Her smile and joy of life. Her dog was her greatest joy when she would get on her scooter and ride around the community with him leading the whole way. Miss you Sharon may you rest in peace.
Sharon and I lived across the hall from each other at Americana Finnmark in Silver Spring, MD for many years. I took in her mail for many months when she was serving with the Red Cross in NYC after 911 and other places in the country. We often went out to lunch at various restaurants, exchanged Christmas presents, and did fun things together. Sharon didn't want to move to SW FL where I moved because of hurricanes, but we've had none and they had many big storms where she moved--figures.. Lost touch with her in recent years, always remembered her Sept. 21 birthday. A friend sent me the notice from the Washington Post. I pray that she's in heaven...I often told her about the love of the Lord.

Condolences to the family. Granny as she was known to many of us within the phone company was a true friend to many. We shared many a laugh together, she even named one of my beagles for me - Kent's Irish Whiskey.
Sharon's father and my mother were happily married for 15 years and lived in Clearwater, FL until his passing in 1995. That made Sharon and me step sisters and I enjoyed our relationship. We, unfortunately, lost touch about six years ago. I have often thought of Sharon and wondered how she was doing and was saddened at reading her obit in The Washington Post this morning.
When we first met back in the1970's, as we had not known each other until our parents got together, Sharon was working for the telephone company and one of the memories that stands out for me was that she used to climb the telephone poles to make repairs. I thought that was pretty gallant. I'm sorry that she is gone and I wish we had done a better job of staying in touch.

May you find comfort in His promise found at Isaiah 25:8 where He says that He will swallow up death forever and wipe away tears from all faces.
Sharon had a wonderful personality. And she always try to make you smile with her jokes. Sharon you will be missed but your memories will always be at cadbury.
I will always remember Sharon, because she always had her dog with her. And Sharon had always a smile on her face. It was a pleasure and a joy to be around Sharon.
