Scott C. Hartle's Obituary
Scott C. Hartle, age 90, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. He was born June 14, 1918 in State Line, PA to the late Scott C. and Elva (Pensinger) Hartle.
Stationed in Boston, MA, he served in the Navy and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Hartle took up residency in the Rehoboth area some 20 years ago. He was the Owner/Operator of a Sheet Metal Company in Washington, D.C. before retiring.
Scott happily celebrated his ninetieth birthday last month with his wife of seventy years, Mary Kathryn (Chamberlin) Hartle; his daughter, Beverly and her husband, Walton "Hank" W. Sanderson, Sr. of Rehoboth Beach, DE; his grandson, Walton W. Sanderson, Jr. of Georgetown, DE; granddaughter, Kathryn Anne Blakeman and her husband, Dan, and children, Bethany and Massey of Miami Shores, FL. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; Scott and Kathryn Lee Sanderson of Greenville, NC, and many nieces and nephews.
All services are private.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriot's Way, Milford, DE, 19963.
