Sarah L. Horvath's Obituary
Sarah "Sally" Horvath passed away at home on Thursday, May 30, 2024 after a battle with cancer. Sally was the ninth of eleven children born to the late William and Dorothy Parks.
Sally is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 47 years, Joseph; and her siblings: Albert, Rose, Rick, and Pete. She was preceded in death by siblings: John, Anita, Daniel, Jerry, Susie, and Mary.
Sally worked over 35 years as a legal secretary for a number of prestigious lawyers in law firms in the Washington, DC area. After retiring, she and Joe built a home and moved to Kings Creek Country Club, Rehoboth Beach, where they have lived for the past 22 years. They took up golf, participated in many Club committees events and activities and met many dear friends in their time residing in Rehoboth.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971, where friends and family may visit beginning at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sally's memory can be made to St. Edmond Catholic Church, PO Box 646, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
