Sara L. Savage's Obituary
Sara L. Savage, age 90 of Georgetown, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2010 at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. She was born on November 7, 1919 in Bridgeville, DE, daughter of the late Samuel P. and Alice "Todd" Scott. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in 1996 by her husband of 59 years, William H. Savage Sr, as well as 4 sisters, Cora Bunting, Lillian Stewart, Ethel Hill,and Carey Draper, and 2 brothers, William Scott and Lewis Scott.
She is survived by her son, William H. Savage Jr. and his wife Jane, a grandson William H Savage III. and his wife Leslie, two step grandchildren, Timothy Mumford and Tara Benton, two great-grandsons, Parker and Zachary Savage, and two step-great-grandchildren Tyler Benton and Allison Benton. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be on Monday, October 4th 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, 307 N. Bedford Street, Georgetown, DE where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or Grace United Methodist Church, 7 South King Street, Georgetown, DE 19947.
