Since retiring from full-time pastoring, we have made Midway Assembly of God our church home. And, one of the great joys was having Sante greet us each Sunday morning. We got to know him over the past year, and had the pleasure of dining together. Sante was always a joy to be with, and a great encourager. One of his finest qualities was his unconditional support of his pastor - a rare but priceless characteristic today.

I will miss Sante, and Midway will absolutely miss him. Sincere prayers for the family. Thankfully we know where Sante is, and his healing is eternal now, as he worships his Lord and Savior face to face.

Sante and I had talked about playing a round of golf but this never happened. We just couldn’t get it together and I regret that. He was a good man and always had a smile on his face. Sante, rest in peace and hoping we will meet again for that round of golf. 🙏

Sante,
Who am I going to call for approval when a community member is in need of benevolence,
Who am I going to call when we need or want something for the Youth in our Church, I always knew to call you because you never let me down, you also never told me No.
My very last conversation with you was you saying We’ll get it done,
How do We go on without one of the best guys in our community!
You were more than a Church Board member, you were my Husband’s Friend, You were our Family.
You greeted my Daughters with a smile and lifted their spirits on a rainy Day.
We’ve sat at Weddings, Services, Banquet’s and so much more by you. You Supported our Church and our family. You were a mentor and someone who I looked to. I’m going to miss you so much.
Please watch over Pastor and his family as you did on Earth.
