Samuel L. Quinn's Obituary
Samuel L. Quinn, 87,of Lewes, DE, formerly of Middletown Township, PA passed away at his residence on Tuesday Feb. 12, 2008. He was born on March 3, 1920, in Chester, PA , son of the late Thomas L. Quinn and Myrtle (Sellers) Quinn.
Mr. Quinn retired as an electrician in 1987 from BP Refinery in Trainer, PA after 35 years of service in the petroleum industry. He was an avid golfer and member of Shawnee Country Club in Milford, DE. He was an Army Veteran of WW II.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Rose (MacDonald) Quinn of Lewes, DE; a daughter Maureen Quinn of Arlington, VA; a granddaughter Julia Ortiz of Arlington, VA; a sister Anna Marchlik of Milton, DE; and a Religious sister, Sister Thomasann of Doylestown, PA.
A Prayer Service will be held at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Deacon John Smith officiating. Entombment with military honors will be at Arlington National Cemetery, in Arlington, VA at a later date.
