Ruth Cipriano's Obituary
Ruth Cipriano, age 82 of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. She was born on May 16, 1935 in Newark, NJ, daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Pepe) Leonardo.
Mrs. Cipriano was a member of the Assemblies of God Church in New Jersey and the Elks Lodge in Lewes. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, cooking and shopping, especially when it was for holidays. Above all, Mrs. Cipriano enjoyed the time spent with her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and dear friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cipriano was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gandolfo “Gary” in 2016; her sister, Mary Krauss and her brother, Edward Leonardo. She is survived by her son, Perry Joseph Cipriano of Linden, NJ; her daughter, Lori Jean Dingman and her husband Jeffrey of Georgetown, DE; and her sister Yolanda Dalessandro of Menlo Park, NJ.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow the services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 32112 Vines Creek Road, Dagsboro, DE.
