I am sorry to learn of the loss of your family member. My family also experienced a loss recently. Many times others wish to do or say something to ease the pain of such a loss. My family found comfort in God's Word the Bible. Jesus said at John 11:25 that he is the resurrection. He furthur stated at John 5:28,29 that there will be a resurrection of those sleeping in death. Revelation 21:3,4 lets us know that one day tears, pain, sorrow and death will be gone. I hope these scriptures will bring your family a measure of comfort and hope.
