Dear Dottie and members of Mr. Russell Givens' family,
Our sympathy and prayers are with you on your loss; so shocked to see it online this morning. I have fond memories of going home to visit with Dottie and family while in school, and he, as well as Mrs. Givens, was always so pleasant and hospitable. Whenever we have been up that way in recent years and pass by the home place, it brings back those special memories. Surely wish we could be there for his service, but distance prevents our doing so. Do be assured of our prayers for all of you.

I remember spending summers down there. Some times helping Uncle Russ in the chicken houses. Some times chasing the chickens if any got away on pick up day. I have MANY fond memories of the time spent with this side of the family
