Rosie was a beautiful person. I didn't have the good fortune of seeing her on a regular basis, but when I did encounter her, usually in walking somewhere along Pine Street, she had a genuine vibrancy about her that she shared with others. I wish I had been able to get to know her so much more than I did. She always took time to smile, laugh, and talk for a few moments, and in doing so made me smile and laugh as well. and isn't this what a truly meaningful life is all about, taking the time to help bring out the joy in those around you? she will not be forgotten.
