Rosemary was an institution on that block of Railroad Ave., and was a wonderful presence the entire time she was there. We couldn't have asked for a better neighbor and friend to the family. She lived an admirable life, and we'll miss her; her likes won't be known again.
Rosemary was a dear family friend and trusted neighbor for more than three decades. We always enjoyed spending quality time and robust conversations with her during our visits and we will treasure the memories with her throughout the years.
Railroad Avenue will not be the same without Rosemary and she will be dearly missed.

We only had the pleasure of knowing Rosemary for a very short time. However, we are honored that we were able to purchase her Railroad home and hopefully restore it in a way that would make her happy. Rest in peace, Rosemary.
I shared many volunteer hours wth Rosemary and the VIA.

Dear Metzget Family,
I would like to express my deepest sympathies on the passing of Rosemary. She was a very special, warm, vibrant, generous, giving, and lovely lady. My family and I had the privilege of knowing her for many years when we stayed every summer at our family friends, the Kugler’s, beach house in Lewes, The house was across the street from her on Railroad Avenue. We became fast friends and she would babysit my children for us in the evening so that my husband and I could go out and enjoy the nightlife. She always offered recommendations of places to go out and of the newest and best restaurants and shops in town and in the area.My children also enjoyed her dogs. May she rest in peace.
