Roseann M. Hottes' Obituary
Roseann “Rose” M. Hottes, 31, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, formerly of Wilmington, DE died suddenly on Monday, November 22, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident in Milford, DE. She was born July 5, 1979 daughter of Jane M. (McGonigle) Whaley of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Ronald J. Hottes of Georgetown, DE.
Rose graduated from Del Castle Technical High School in 1997 with a specialization in ISS. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant for Sweet Oil and ReMax Associates, both in Wilmington. On November 5, 1997 Rose and her fiancé were blessed with the love of their lives, their daughter, Brittney DuVall. Rose loved shopping, hair, makeup, and being a diva with her daughter. She also loved cats, music, the beach, and most of all spending time with friends and family. Rose was a loving mother, daughter, fiancé, sister, aunt, and friend to so many who will miss the love she shared with them.
In addition to her parents, Rose is survived by her fiancé of sixteen years, John W. DuVall of Wilmington, DE; step father, Rick Whaley of Rehoboth Beach, DE; step mother, Trina Hottes of Georgetown, DE; sister and best friend Jenifer M. Hottes and Jeffrey Gunter of Wilmington, DE; grandparents, Charles and Edna Davis of Newport, DE; nephews: Jeffrey and Jaden Gunter; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Rose will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 4:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
A Celebration of Life for Rose will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010 7:00 PM at Richardson Park United Methodist Church, 11 N. Maryland Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19804. Friends may call at the church beginning at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Memorial Fund of Roseann Hottes, C/O PNC Bank, 17725 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958
