Rosalie L. Neumayer's Obituary
Rosalie L. (Gange) Neumayer, age 71, of Lewes, DE, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, August 30, 2009. She was born March 27, 1938 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Salvatore and Sophia (Ustasieuski) Gange.
Mrs. Neumayer moved to the beach from Baltimore six years ago. She was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed playing cards, pinball machines, shopping and taking long trips. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dearly loved her cat "Puss Puss."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Vanessa Fabian and Linda Holland and two brothers, Frank and Salvatore Gange. She is survived by her two daughters, Gloria Shoemaker of Selbyville, DE and Jacqueline Vandervort and her husband Jerry of Pasadena, MD; two sons, Edward Holland and wife Candy of Bel Air, MD and Robert Holland and wife Tricia of Lewes, DE; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Maryann Thompson and husband Junior of Baltimore, MD.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, 11:00 AM at St. Edmond's Catholic Church, King Charles & Laurel Streets, Rehoboth Beach, DE. Friends may call at the church beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Tunnell Cancer Center, 424 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958 or to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
