We cannot begin to tell you how sorry and devastated we were when we heard of Ronnie and Billy.
We ( Maureen and myself) were just thinking of them on the tenth (ash Wednesday). A few years ago on Ash Wednesday we invited the 'boys' to attend mass with us and receive ashes. Ronnie was so thrilled and excited, you would have thought we were taking a trip to Disney world. Since Ronnie was going, ya' know Billy came along. They both woke up earlier than necessary that morning, and ended up being dressed and ready before my daughter and myself were. I still remember like it was yesterday the look of pure joy and pride on their faces walking out of mass that morning. Neither one of them could wait until we got to the car to call their Mom. Before the call, I remember Ronnie saying " Billy, we got to call Mom and tell her that we got our ashes for ash Wednesday. She's going to be so happy and proud of us!" I wanted to try and contact them this year and see if they wanted to go with us again. Over the years, We had lost contact and current phone numbers. If only we could turn back time, and be able to spend another hour with them.
We just found out about the loss a few days ago. And it broke my heart. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family. We know that God welcomed them with open arms, and he will be there to take care of them, and love them (as he always has).
My thoughts and prayers are with you and everyone who was blessed enough to have had met them.
With love, JoAnn Risk-Lynch~ Rehoboth Beach Delaware
