Ronald J. Petchel, age 69 of Bethany Beach, DE, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at his home. He was born on October 7, 1951, in New Castle, DE, son of the late Lawrence and Dorothy (McGrath) Petchel.
Ronnie enjoyed the solitude of being an avid long-distance runner and bicyclist. He will be remembered for his humor and storytelling.
Ronnie is survived by members of his immediate and extended family.
